Participants are expected to be fit to perform the role of First Aider.

It is a legal requirement for all newly qualified nursery staff to hold either an Emergency Paediatric First Aid (1 day EPFA - RQF) or Paediatric First Aid (2 day PFA - RQF) certificate. For a nursery to achieve the gold standard ‘Millie’s Mark,’ all staff will have to hold one of these qualifications.

For those who care for children from birth to puberty, we offer the Highfield Qualifications Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) course (regulated by Ofqual and meets Ofsteds requirements).  However, the Early Years Framework states that all those who will be left in sole charge of a child or children will require the full 2 day Paediatric First Aid course

In house courses can be delivered at your premises if suitable.

You choose the dates, which can be weekdays or a weekend, or a series of evenings and weekends.
