Our anaphylaxis training course is based upon the "Anaphylaxis Campaign - AllergyWise" program and follows the RCN (Royal College of Nursing) syllabus - enabling staff in childcare and early years settings access to high quality, up-to-date and evidence based training.

 

It is comprehensive and covers:

 

·         Allergen avoidance, which hopefully will prevent them having a reaction in the first place

·         Early recognition of symptoms, so all staff will be able to spot the early signs 

·         Crisis management, so if a child does become ill, staff will be able to act 

 

Includes practical training in the use of auto-injector devices.

 

Each course take place on your premises at a time to suit you and is suitable for up to 10 staff. It can be tailored to your specific needs and training lasts about 90 minutes.
