A short course of 1 - 4 hours intended to enable employers to comply with their legal obligations in respect of first aid provision. The course content can be focused on your needs, i.e. office, shop, school or restaurant.
What is an appointed person? (HSE link)
The 2009 Codes of Practice issued by the Health and Safety Executive state:-
Appointed Persons
"Where an employer's assessment of first-aid needs identifies that a first-aider is not necessary, the minimum requirement on an employer is to appoint a person to take charge of the first aid arrangements, including looking after the equipment and facilities, and calling the emergency services when required. Arrangements should be made for an appointed person to be avaliable to undertake these duties at all times when people are at work."
Our certificated training includes Basic Life Support (CPR) training and can take place on your premises our ours.
